Review of Reds (1981) by Jordan T — 10 Mar 2008
Warren Beatty's crowning achievement is a well done and good looking epic focusing on the Russian Revolution and the journalist John Reed. Uniformally excellent performances overall, but I didn't get Beatty's fascination with this character, who becomes so wrapped up in the Revolution he tries to overthrow the American government for Communism.
