Review of Reds (1981) by Brenton A — 14 Aug 2008
I'm sure the witty banter between Keaton and Beatty is very insightful and revealing, but I couldn't stay awake long enough to hear it. The political intrigue is a little more interesting, and far more sophisticated and realistic than any other movie I can recall, but unfortunately I had to wait through 18 hours depicting American intellectual commune life before I could see it.
