Sprawling epic about Jack Reed's involvement in the Russian revolution. It has all the elements that you might expect of a film with 3 hour plus political back-drop, but it also represents the plight of Reed's wife in equal measure.
Sure the political stuff is fascinating, but it is also a moving love story at heart.
