Now I have read the book first, and I have got to say that it is better. But saying that does not mean that the movie does not capture the essence at all. This movie does the best it can the capture the book in all of it's greatness.

It shows the key moments in Henry's and Alex' relationship, with them sending the emails, and them being released to the public. They showed the anguish that they went through when they got released, and when they were forbidden the speak.

But the acting for about the first half hour reminds me of the "Nickelodeon" show called "Big Time Rush" but after it did get better in a slow and steady process. I would recommend this movie but the book would always be recommended first and foremost.
