Red White & Blue wasn't the generic horror/thriller movie I was expecting. It was more elaborated than most movies of its genre, with a very well constructed story and characters, as well as very good performances from the leads. However, it was obviously independent and it gets credit for it, but felt more like in the drama genre with some violence that was pretty disturbing. Overall, it wasn't what I was expecting but it ended up surprising me and it kept my attention until the very end.
