Disturbing, but with a clear message. That's about all. The scripts dialogue falls flat on every level but is stretched out uncontrollably, and although nicely shot...the film doesn't really go anywhere or offer anything that says "Kevin Smith knows what he's doing.
" He takes a realistic and true subject and makes it unbelievable with ridiculous choices and decisions. He could have had something here, but chose to piss off the audience instead.
