Review of Red Sparrow (2018) by Julia D — 01 Mar 2018
It might be too violent for some audiences, but I found the film incredibly compelling and empowering for women in a way which is honest and quite unlike what many other modern films are doing to reach that same end.
Dominika ultimately does everything she does for herself and for her mother- this is not a movie about sex or about men, it is about Dominika and her use of pure intelligence in her struggle for survival.
