Review of Red Sparrow (2018) by Special O — 06 Mar 2018
Red Sparrow is very confusing and illustrates the bizarre attitudes of Hollywood and perhaps America. When the Jennifer Lawrence character is being humiliated during training or tortured it is permissible for her to be completely naked, but after she has sex with the agent she is (or isn't) involved with, she appears to still have her underwear on.
That attitude seems to permeate a lot of the film, but apparently it could turn into a series and does show a certain degree of promise.
Approach with caution.
