Shockingly adequate. I'd not recommend it unless you are a fan of just watching random horror movies. It's definitely not for the mainstream blockbuster crowd.
It has a limited reach - but that works with the film and because of that it isn't overly flawed. It knows what it can and can't do and makes the best of it.
