Review of Red Road (2006) by Pierre-Paul V — 05 Jun 2008
Good mix of revenge / regrets / masochism in a dark, slow thriller. Views of depressing suburbs in Glasgow add to the general athmosphere, while main character kate Dickie is very convincing. Short porn sequence for addicts of the genre ;-) I was expecting more action, however, and the final fell short of what we would have liked for such a movie.
