Review of Red River (2011) by Joel A — 03 Mar 2010
What a western!! John Wayne was great as lead, Walter Brennan was perfect as the toothless side kick, Montgomery Clift was terrific for his screen debut! The film is rather simple but it works, the characters in this film give it's flavour.
..but there are great action scenes along the way that keep the film flowing. A good old yarn...a classic western!!!
