Visually intriguing movie at times, but Amanda Seyfried is the only character of any interest in this otherwise dreary movie. Gary Oldman and Julie Christie compete for overacting honors. Overall I give it to Oldman, but Christie gets special recognition for her creepy performance in the "grandma, what big eyes you have" scene.
Yes, they DID go there.
