Yes, it's a Catherine Hardwicke film which means, yes, it is very Twilight-ish, but that doesn't detract from the film in the slightest! This film was a very entertaining little flick and Amanda Seyfried was fantastic as always.
The male leads were both great as well. All in all, I thought this was a pretty well done re-imagining, definitely recommended!
