Review of Red Riding Hood (2011) by Josh G — 28 Jun 2012
The Film is a twist on the classic fairy tale of 'Red Riding Hood', after watching this film I think I've started to dislike the tale now. It was an offbeat film that didn't make senses & was portray badly, it was a horrible movie that had only Gary Oldman performing as a character, that didn't even save the movie.
It's a badly written film that only has some slightly worth dialogue & set prices of the set and visual were bad, but also good at only SOME Points. Catherine Hardwicke what was she thinking, she did not do a great job, that for sure, sadly one to add to a now downfall of a good Career.
The only thing that was great was the mystery of the movie it was pretty clever, which having good splatter of blood take, it was also very disappoint as I was expecting lots of blood, gut & dark horror but it was all bore & all upon the drama & romance take, which was soo very bad.
The ending was the worst thing, I literally throughout she was going to fuck the werewolf in its form, from the look she was giving him, it was such a joke, I shouted what the Fuck, but the end credit was showing sweet & nice images.
The Movie was a utter joke, why promote it being Horror when it's clearly no good for the genre what so ever.
