Review of Red Riding Hood (2011) by Mitchell A — 06 Dec 2012
Didn't love it, but didn't hate it. I like the supernatural thriller type movies and have always had a spot in my heart for werewolf movies. I liked the mystry of "who is the wolf?" and Amanda Seyfried and her big eyes are always a delight to watch.
I had to see it because I told Catherine Hardwick, the director, and Shiloh Fernandez, one of the stars, that I was looking forward to seeing it when I met them at SXSW. I liked it and the twist on the fairy tale, it was well shot and had good set design.
Some good wolf scenes too. See it if you like werewolf movies.
