Review of Red Lights (2012) by Baurushan J — 05 Oct 2012
A bland and boring-ass cliche-as-hell horror movie that will put you to sleep any minute and a twist so stupid that it clearly comes close to M.Night Shyamalan syndrome. The story is about two paranormal researchers played by Cillian Murphy and Sigourney Weaver who debunk some shit of what they call "red lights" but when the legendary Simon Silver played by Robert De Niro returns from his 30-year retirement, they use every tool to uncover the truth behind Simon's powerful mind-reading abilities.
But CIllian's character is forced to reexamine his own beliefs until a thrilling conclusion-NOT! This movie throws every bottom-of-the-barrel horror cliche right at your face from the obvious dark lighting to the rising props; ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Cillian Murphy, Sigourney Weaver and Robert De Niro all three had no reason to pick and star in such a shitty script, let's just hope they escaped with a paycheck and went off.
This movie was awful, it was boring, it was stupid, it was just really really bad. Red Lights gets a 2/10.
