What could and should have been a serious and intelligent thriller about psychic fraud is reduced to an incoherent melodrama that makes no sense and wastes an A-list cast. With elements lifted from Brian de Palma, M Night Shyamalan and David Fincher (not least the Howard Shore 'Se7en' rip-off score) this is one big humbug.
