Review of Red Hill (2010) by Julio S — 16 Dec 2011
Both a thriller and a western, though more of the latter, Red Hill is a well put film that does more good than harm. The tension and action are always well complimented by each other and each of the actors do a good job portraying their roles even if their screen time is minimal at best.
And even though some attempts to change up certain tropes of the genre, and and oddly placed theme, don't really gel all that well,it doesn't really mar the gorgeously shot film.
