Review of Red Heat (1988) by Jeff B — 05 Oct 2010
Stunning visuals at times, but, at other times, horrible editing and ridiculous sequences--even for an '80s action movie. Schwarzenegger has no business playing a Russian and Belushi is just annoying.
On the plus side, Laurence Fishburne plays a suitably dickish detective and Gina Gershon is mighty fine to look at. The fight in the snow at the beginning--except for seeing a partially nude Arnold--was enjoyable.
Good to see if you want to see something outside Arnold's greatest hits (Terminator, Predator, Running Man, etc.).
