Review of Red Heat (1988) by Cade H — 17 Nov 2011
I usually like any and all Arnold movies but this one took Arnold and made him into a character that was very unenjoyable to watch. Arnold was a Russian officer in america so he had a bad accent, nothing funny to say, ever and the chemistry between him and Belushi just never clicked.
There were the occasional fun shoot out scenes but everything else was just bland. The plot was ok but it had a tough time keeping my attention for more then a few minutes at a time. I think this would have been a good buddy cop movie if Arnold would of been allowed to be himself and not some boring guy from Russia.
