Review of Red Dragon (2002) by Tylor — 21 Jul 2011

So underrated it's a shame. "Red Dragon", the prequel to "Silence of the Lambs", follows the great thriller more closely than any other films in the Hannibal Lecter series. While it's not as perfect as it's predecessor, this movie has a better cast and arguably more shocking content.

Ralph Fiennes turns in another brilliant performance and Edward Norton holds his own going toe-to-toe with Anthony Hopkins. This one isn't as funny as "Hannibal" but goes instead for the dark and sexy tone of the original masterpiece.
