Review of Red Dawn (1984) by Jack S — 27 May 2018
I saw this movie when I was a kid, at a time when a Soviet invasion wasn't far fetched. This movie is an all time classic to me, along with everyone else I know who watched it back in the 80's.
I can't believe the crappy rating it has here. The only thing I can think of is people thought they were rating the new, horrible version. The other possibility is that if you watched it for the 1st time now, it can't compare to action packed movies of today like Olympus has Fallen.
It's still bad ass to me now though, when I watch clips from it.
