Review of Red Dawn (1984) by Brian L — 11 Aug 2012
Lots of things don't make sense, like how they keep upgrading their guns and equipment, even though they always destroy everything the Cuban/Russian (WTF???) are carrying, or how they also keep rescuing people yet it's always the 9 or 10 of them fighting and the others are nowhere to be found.
Oh, the Cuban general keeping a pretty gay diary and quitting at the end??? But I give it credit for the time it was made on and how movies were made back then. I think would've liked it ok back then, but I hope the remake better develops the characters, has less holes in the story.
