Review of Red Cliff (2008) by Gina W — 15 Nov 2009

I have a soft spot for this kind of films, as I'm a fan of ancient history in general and war movies set in this era in particular. But you never know, so I was pleased to see that this is a high-budget movie, very well acted and directed.

The battle scenes look really good, the settings are just beautiful and the plot never gets boring (I watched the cut 148-minute version). I would recommend this to anyone who likes this genre, you probably won't be disappointed.
