Makes Avatar look like a Girl Scout jamboree. What Cameron knows about action filmmaking could fit into the nail of John Woo's little left toe. This is comic book action at its finest and most fun, with Woo sustaining our interest in the drama--more, the bombast--for all of its 148 minute running time.
Easily Woo's best work in years--decades, and easily the best action epic in years.
