Review of Red Cliff (2008) by Lola M — 23 May 2010
As far as war films go, this one is my favorite. Normally war films are very bloody and boring when the troops aren't in battle. This film wasn't too gruesome, but it still showed the graphic danger and hardships of war.
Also the non-battle scenes were exciting and creatively filmed. It reminded me of a more realistic version of 300, except they kept their shirts on throughout most of the film!
