Review of Red Beard (1965) by Nata C — 10 Aug 2008
It's a typical Kurosawa's film with typical Kurosawa's characters. Dr.Niide (Toshiro Mifune) was brilliantly portrayed as a rebellious spirit against corrupt government while maintaining his own clinic's problems.
A good combination of satire and morale of life and death in Japan's shogunate era.
