Informative documentary on the Soviet Red Army hockey team. The uncomfortable truth revealed is that totalitarianism (and the total commitment it makes possible) goes hand in hand with sports greatness.
Ironically, the oppressive system in question produced a product that was tremendously entertaining and beautiful to watch, generally outclassing the NHL at the time, which was often little more than gang warfare on ice.
