Review of Red (2002) by Jordan C — 19 Jan 2013
Red is like the action movie you can enjoy even if there isn't much punches or kicks. The plot is very clever as it develops through the movie and puts itself togheter until at the last 20 minutes were you can clearly see why everything happened.
The cast does an incredible job and the music is fitting to each situation. The thing that Red lacks is some humanity from the characters, most of them seems like they were generated from a lab experiment, with the exception of Morgan Freeman's character; Joe, who shows more wit and humanity than the other characters.
Yet, the movie has enough to please you and it's very funny too. Give it a try, you might like it.
