Review of Recess: School's Out (2001) by Movie K — 27 May 2010

Enjoyable animation. Summer vacation is on and TJ is the only kid not going for any camps, unlike his 5 other best friends. A baddie (Dr Benedict) stole a secret gadget and is doing some works in the empty school.

TJ found out and alerted his parents and police but nobody believe it. He goes to the golf course to find the principal Prickly. He follows him and was zap gone when he tries to open the door. TJ needs to find his besties for help and ask his sister to all the camps, using her diary as the bargain chip.

When all are together, they begin the plan to go in. TJ was caught while the rest escapes. Principal is alright too. He told his story back in the 60s, Benedict is the youngest appointed principal of this school.

He wants to remove recess so that test scores will rise. Prickly is against it and reported it, then he was made the principal and Benedict is fired. His love Ms Finster dislike his ideas too. He vows for revenge.

The rest of the kids have to rally up all the students for a mass attack. Benedict's plan is to use the gadget to alter moon's course so that there will be no more summer and winter all year round.

Because countries with no summer have high test scores. The students plan well for attack and TJ with principal Prickly escapes. In the launch lab, more guards comes in nd Ms Finster along with other teachers joins in.

Prickly punch Benedict out but the lever is launch. One of TJ's pal throw the baseball and destroys the gadget. The baddies were caught. TJ and gang enjoy the remaining summer vacation together.
