Quick, suspenseful, and greatly acted (they made it seem so real), the film builds up towards a terrifying final act you won't easily forget. The American remake Quarantine [2008] was hands down an exact copy of this and it's too bad that I saw Quarantine, which I also kinda liked, before I saw [REC], but anyway, [REC] deserves total credit as the original.
