If you want a movie that really embraces the horror genre, look no further. It's Spanish so you're gonna have to read subtitles but luckily it's not a dialogue driven film. It's effective the way they've used the handheld camera filming method.

This was before Paranormal Activity, Chronicle, Project X and so on so it was pretty fresh to use this method. It's only an hour and 10 minutes and it's well worth your time.
