Groundbreaking tale of teenage angst that is very much of its time and is tame by today's standards. Unfortunately, this film has never done it for me because James Dean just looks too old. Older than 17, older than his own 24 years. Just not a teenager.
My favourite part is his father's approach to rectifying trouble by making a list. Sensible man.
