Review of Rebel Without a Cause (1955) by Matthew L — 03 Jan 2010
Absolutely splendid. James Dean is sensational in this teen classic. A rebel without a cause? I think not. Dean and Director Nicholas Ray were fighting for all the disenchanted youth of the world. This film is still as potent today as it was in 1955.
All the performances are phenomenal, and the film's execution is superb. I couldn't have enjoyed it more; this is a true classic that exceeds the hype. Not to be missed.
