I loved the leads, I LOVED the sociological aspects, and I loved the character arcs. What let it down was the fact that what he suspected was happening, was happening. I wanted it to be cleverly explained away as completely innocent, for the guys wife to turn up alive and well, and for there to be a moral lesson about "idle thumbs".
Oh well.
