Review of Rear Window (1954) by Gavin M — 04 May 2012
Hitchcock's Rear Window really is a masterpiece. This movie features undeniable edge-of-your-seat suspense, with tons of great acting, dialog, set pieces, and music thrown in the mix. Rear Window is entertainment at it's best.
This is the first Hitchcock film I saw. James Stewart and Grace Kelly have genuine screen chemistry, and they both show true acting charisma. Great movie, a classic. My favorite Hitchcock film is Vertigo though.
