Review of Rear Window (1954) by Lizi F — 09 Jan 2013
I tried so hard to revere this film, but I could only muster enough of myself to enjoy it. After my first two samples into Hitchcock's works I was convinced that this one would be the best, only to be disappointed.
Surely, it is a monumental achievement in directing, but the one set scenario just didn't blow me over like Dial M for Murder did. That being said, Rear Window is a fantastic movie and a prime liaison into modern film making as we know it today.
