Review of Rear Window (1954) by Chillindylan G — 27 Feb 2015
This is one of the most suspenseful and nerve-wracking movies I have ever seen that isn't in the horror genre. The sheer intensity of the film makes it a bit of an exhausting experience. James Stewart is at his best, and he really straddles the line between deep concern and obsession. The story is tight and exhilarating from start to finish. One of Hitchcock's best.
Grade = 8.5/10.
