Review of Real Women Have Curves (2002) by Katia L — 16 Oct 2008
Great portrayal of the "traditional" values of some Latina mothers...(for example: marianismo) and the emotional pressure and struggle for new generations of Latino women who has to fight against the barriers of their own family values in order to find their own voice and identity, and at the same time accept and embrace their families as they are.
..full of contradictions as themselves....
