A fun, rock'em sock'em smashup of a flick, following a father-son team as they work they way up through the ranks for professional robot fighting. The CG work on the robots is exceptionally well done, with the battle sequences done in realistic-fighting fashion.
An enjoyable movie that doesn't lose sight of its popcorn-movie intentions - and there's nothing wrong with that. Watch for the stellar work of my pal Stuart Greggs, too!
