That's more than an hour of my life I'll never get back. I got sucked in to this Rocky meets AI meets The Champ rip-off by Hugh Jackman, who, as always, looks cool, buffed and full of heart. But! But the plot.
As each thing comes up - guy gets beaten and ducks out on paying, guy meets son he never spent time with, guy loses fight with money gotten for selling his son etc. etc. the cliches just don't end.
And however good the CGI, it doesn't make up for the fact that we've seen this movie so many times before and this time it doesn't have heart.
