Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Aron E — 07 Apr 2018
A solid film with minimal plot holes and great character development. Ready Player One had so many great references but never made them the focal point of a scene. A big worry of mine coming into this movie was that it would resemble Star Wars the Force Awakens on steroids, but rather it approached nostalgia in an entirely different way.
The adventure was fun with believable mental jumps that helped the characters solve the puzzles at hand.The acting wasn't great, but didn't detract from the movie.
