Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Summer 7 — 09 Apr 2018

I was so excited when I heard they were making a movie about ready player one. I was really excited that steven SPIELBERG was going to be apart of this. I HAVE NOW SEEN THE MOVIE AND CAN TELL YOU I'M NOT A FAN; NOW BEFORE YOU GO WRITING ME OFF LET ME EXPLAIN.

I KNOW MOST MOVIES NEVER LIVE UP TO THE BOOKS AND THIS MOVIE IS THE SAME. aS MUCH AS I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE FLASHY CGI AND AMAZING JOB THE PRODUCTION DID, I FELT A BIG DISCONNECT FROM THE STORY.... THIS MOVIE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE 80'S AND THE LOVE THE AUTHOR BROUGHT TO THE ENJOYMENT OF BRINGING A YOUNGER GENERATION INTO THE 80'S BUT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH STEVEN SPIELBERG AND APPLYING TO THE GENERATION OF TODAY EXPLOITING THE 90'S AND GIVING US A MASH UP OF SPIELBERGS WORLD AND TODAY'S ENTERTAINMENT AND SOME HOW BEING APPLIED IN A WORLD THAT are DECADES APARt let alone the TOURNAMENT is about the 80's.

This movie was DISAPPOINTING because it was not about the story but more about spilberg becoming an ADVERTISEMENT selling all his propaganda for a movie that could have been truly been special. better luck next time.
