This is tough. Am I rating Ready Player One (RPO) as a standalone effort, or RPO as the movie ADAPTATION of a GREAT book? If I was rating the ADAPTATION of the book... this would be 1 outta 5 stars. There is little to nothing of the book here.
As a cyberpunky movie? It's REALLY well done! So I'm going to split the difference and give it 3 outta 5. This story could have been a trilogy of each key, IMO.
