Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Marlon H — 08 Aug 2018
It's long been known that if infantilism is your sexual fetish of choice then Spielberg is your director. And in 'Ready Player One' he serves up gargantuan helpings of his usual insipid, pointlessly cliched storytelling, all wrapped up in a package so garishly bright and gaudy that it will appeal only to those who are easily distracted by bright colors and flashing lights.
If this movie had a smell, it would be that of the burnt, caramel corn available for purchase in the theater lobby.
