This is a engrossing film experience. One that takes us into the dark places of, if not THE most, influential and controversial artists of the R&B and Country genres. And do not forget Jamie Foxx; in every scene he steals the screen.
He entirely encompasses an endearing and fully devoted Ray Charles. Nods to the Oscars. And the makeup team deserve a nomination as well.
