"Don't jive me, man.".
A biopic of the legendary Ray Charles.
The art direction and set decoration are killer. The soundtrack is groovy, and the script is powerful enough. Pretty much any way you slice it, Ray is a wonderful film.
But for all thats holy, Jamie Fox's brilliant performance as the titular character is what everyone will remember from the film. Sometimes he looks so convincing as the man himself, that you'll wonder it your actually watching a film or a home video. Jammie's performance could be one of the best of the decade, he is that good.
