Before watching the film I knew 3 things about Ray Charles. He was a great entertainer, he was black and he was blind. After the movie I learned a 4th thing, he did plenty of drugs.
This was a fairly bland biopic that didn't really teach me anything about Charles and made him sound boring. Jamie Foxx's excellent impersonation of him is the only thing that saves this movie from being bad.
