Review of Ray (2004) by Matthew H — 14 May 2010
I really liked this from the get-go.
Being similar to Walk the Line, telling of the story of a legendary musician, I constantly found myself going 'whoa' at their music.
The performances really made this work perfectly. Jamie Foxx did a tremendous job. I personally think this was the equivalent of Forest Gump (if you know what I mean).
The music played a major role in telling this story too, and it was AMAZING. Ray Charles is a legend.
On a totally unrelated note, I really loved the lighting, I don't know why.
I watched a good movie.
