Review of Ray (2004) by Clayton R — 20 Apr 2012
Ray Charles' life's too short for just 2 1/2 hours, plus the acting and camerawork's a touch over directed. Despite this, excellent casting, great sets, indulging music & effective sound-design, plus Jamie Foxx's awe-inspiring performance and Charles' horror story told with extra roughness makes this a worthy biopic for both Ray's fans and newcomers alike.
